Practice
Geoffrey Levesque is a Counsel in the Banking and Finance team of CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats in Neuilly, focusing on project finance. Geoffrey has more than twenty years’ experience in banking and finance advising lenders or borrowers. Geoffrey’s practice covers financing in relation to greenfield or brownfield projects in the infrastructure and energy sectors. In the infrastructure sector, Geoffrey’s experience covers transport (road, rail, airports), telecom as well as social infrastructure (schools, universities, arenas, prisons) projects, generally in the context of PFI/PPP projects but also in the context of privatisations, refinancing or acquisitions. In the energy sector his practice focuses on renewable energies (wind, photovoltaic, bio energies). Geoffrey advises lenders, sponsors as well as institutional lenders. Within the firm, Geoffrey works closely with the public law and infrastructure team, the environment and renewable energy team and the corporate and M&A team. Geoffrey is named Rising Star by IFLR1000.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining CMS Francis Lefebre Avocats in 2018, Geoffrey was a counsel at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP for four years and worked with Allen & Overy LLP for twelve years.

Geoffrey was admitted to the bar in 1997. He is an Avocat with the Barreau des Hauts de Seine.

Geoffrey holds a Master 2 (Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies) in Contract Law, University of Montpellier I (1995) and a Master 2 (Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées) in Banking and Finance Law, University of Lyon III (1996).
